| Hello JDF Members,
Our VP-Operations, Ian Taylor, has recently stepped down from his position due to personal reasons. On behalf of our board, we would like to thank Ian for all his service over the years. Ian has been a part of our board since 2016, managing the portfolio of VP-Operations as well as Risk Manager. Ian has also served on several teams as both a head coach and assistant coach.
A by-election will be held before our regular board meeting on November 18th at 6:30pm. I will be requesting nominations up to November 7th. If you would like to nominate yourself, please include a short bio. If you are nominating someone else, we will need to have their acceptance to let their name stand. I will send out another notification after the 7th to confirm who our nominees are and share their bios.

Please support our U13 Tier1/2 Remembrance Day Memorial Tournament 50-50
The JDF U15 Recreation teams would like to give a huge shout out to all the local businesses who stepped up and donated to our silent auction for the Turkey Cup Hockey Tournament held over Thanksgiving weekend. Your support and generosity helped make our tournament a success. An extra special appreciation goes to Save on Foods, who donated Gatorade and snacks for over 200 swag bags as well as fresh fruit, granola bars and water for the players to enjoy over the weekend. Your support is very much appreciated, thank you for giving back to your community!

JDFMHA would like to congratulate 8 of our players who received a JDF scholarship this year!
There was a ceremony held at the upper Club House on June 17th where each player was presented with their scholarship. We wish these players all the best in their next steps of their lives. Great job all!
